Angela_Bassett

Angela Evelyn Bassett was born in the United States. Her name has been praised by the media and for her television performances since the early 1980s. Her awards include the two Golden Globe Awards, sixteen NAACP Image Awards as well as nominations for Academy Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett was raised in New York New York and was raised by her aunt in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett was able to move with her younger older sister St. Petersburg Florida at the age of five so that they could be near their mom and father, who had separated from their dad. Bassett, while in high-school watched John Steinbeck's stage play Of Mice and Men with James Earl Jones and she made the decision to pursue acting. Following her graduation of Yale University New Haven Connecticut in 1980 with the Bachelor's degree of African American Studies, she went on to earn an MA (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. At Yale she came across Courtney B. Vance a co-actor and they got married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies in the year 1980. Masters in Fine Arts from Yale School of Drama School. Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (7th grade), Azalea Middle School (8th and 9th grades), Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett is currently working on one of the leading characters in the film Ramonda in the action movie i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).
